Short Trip to Medan

Gak pakai pikir panjang lagi langsung deh beli tiketnya.

Tanggal 28 September take off dari LCCT jam 7.30 pagi ke Kuala Namu International Airport.

So off we go! Tempatnya emang a bit lavish tapi harga masih affodrable kalau menurut gw.

Nama restaurantnya lupa tapi makanannya enak2 banget.  Kita pesen kepiting asam manis, kepiting saus padang, udang goreng mentega, cumi goreng tepung, sayur brokoli dan juga ikan kerapu asam manis. Semuanya enak2 banget.

Marina Bay Sands Hotel Singapore

My husband was telling me that he got  a free trip to Singapore from his office and when I asked him where to stay over there, he was rolling his eyes with a big smile and say "Marina Bay Sands Hotel!".  I was like whaatt? you kidding arent you? and he was shaking his head. "I'm telling the truth dear. We are going to stay there for 3 days 2 nights for FREE". Wohhooo!!

Even though I have enough money to stay there, I would not spend few hundred dollars just for a hotel.  One night staying in this hotel cost around USD300++ (standard room) which equivalent to almost MYR1,000 per night. If you go to www.booking.com you would see that the rating for this hotel is 8.5 which is quite impressive. I was so excited to go there and swim at the hotel infinity sky pool with a great view.

So... we went there 2 weeks ago. The hotel was amazing! The service was excellent, the cleanliness of the room, and the facilities were superb! I really like the pool as it has a great view from the 57th floor, and you can enjoy the jacuzzi while sipping in a glass of champagne or cold beer. The staff at the pool were very strict as only hotel guests are allowed to swim and chilling by the pool. They would check the pool pass given by the receptionist and they will give you a paper hand band. Every day will have different color of paper hand band and they will mark your coming date on the pool pass. Each room can get maximum 4 pool pass.

Everything about this hotel is superb except the location is quite far from Orchard. You need to pass by few stations and get into an interchange to get to Orchard which  is quite tiring tho. However, the station is just downstairs of the hotel building which is Bay Front. Those who wanted to go to MBS hotel, I suggest you to stop at Bay Front instead of Marina Bay as its nearer to go to the hotel. If you are hungry, Marina Bay has its own mall and food court inside the building. A lot of choices there but quite expensive. The cheapest price for a meal is about USD10.

Last but not least, If I got the chance to stay at this hotel again I would definitely come back! :)

ps: Thanks my beloved hubby for the amazing experience! love you infinitely! :)

Lego Land Trip

Its been few months since the last time I've updated my blog.

This time I wanted to share about my trip to Lego Land. Actually, I went there last year December but only today I got the time to update it on my blog.

I went there with my husband and my friends. We just so curious about whats in there. So we bought the ticket online which is cheaper than you buy it on the spot and it also to avoid long queue.

The ticket price can be bought here http://www.legoland.com.my/Tickets/ and the price is RM112 instead of RM140 (adult ticket price).

I would say Lego Land is pretty awesome and fun as most rides are made like a lego blocks! :)
Its a good place for pre-wedding picture also if your theme is travel and fun just like the same theme I had last time. Anyway most of rides here are actually for children. So if you bring your children here I'm sure they will enjoy it to the bits!

Lego Land souvenirs are quite pricey but they have a lot of Lego sets there which you could not find it anywhere but here. As for restaurant, I would suggest to bring your own foods as there are only 2 restaurants here and always packed! I had to waited for 1 hour before I got the table but the foods there are awesome (except the pizza).

Here some of pictures from Lego Land and ciao!
