Tanah Merah Laketown Resort
I think that's all till next time folks.

The journey to have our lil miracle 2
So yeah after 2 months of taking glucophage I finally lost about 7kg so far and today was the day I met the gynae. My gynae was so happy to see my improvement but then again she asked me to lose another 9kilo and she prescribe me with clomid. Gotta start taking it by tomorrow for only 5 days a month and she had given me 2 months stock. I really hope I can be pregnant normally without IUI procedure. I will need to see her again on the 1st of August. I really hope I can shed off more kilos and get pregnant in between :) *fingers crossed* #tawakal #ikhtiar #berdoa
Total spent today is MYR380
Consultation MYR100
Medications for me and husband RM280

The journey to have our lil miracle
Me and hubby had decided to have a baby, thus we were decided to see a gynae to check whether we are fertile enough to make this happen. I was recommended by one of my colleagues to see Dr. Siti Zaleha at KPJ Tawakkal. I made an appointment on the 13 January. This doctor is really famous and always fully booked. Thus, it is necessary to make an appointment weeks before. I saw this couple just walk in and doctor assistants were refuse to register them. FYI, this is my first time to see a gynae. and to be honest I was so nervous to see her. I came there around 9.30am and was called up around 10.30. The doctor was so nice and she ask lots of questions like "how long have you been married" "when was your last period" "how was the period cycle" and many more. Once you have explained everything to her, she asked you to lay down and she did an ultrasound to check whether you have any cyst or fibroid. As for mine, I got no cyst or fibroid but I got what it is called by PCOS and my uterus is retroverted. Retroverted uterus got no major influence with pregnancy thingy but PCOS does. According to wikipedia PCOS is as below:
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), also called hyperandrogenic anovulation (HA),[1] or Stein–Leventhal syndrome,[2] is one of the most common endocrine disorders among women. PCOS has a diverse range of causes that are not entirely understood, but there is evidence that it is largely a genetic disease.[3][4][5] PCOS produces symptoms in approximately 5% to 10% of women of reproductive age (approximately 12 to 45 years old). It is thought to be one of the leading causes of female subfertility[6][7][8] and the most frequent endocrine problem in women of reproductive age.[9] Finding that the ovaries appear polycystic on ultrasound is common, but it is not an absolute requirement in all definitions of the disorder.
The most common immediate symptoms are anovulation, excess androgenic hormones, and insulin resistance. Anovulation results in irregular menstruation, amenorrhea, and ovulation-related infertility. Hormone imbalance generally causes acne and hirsutism. Insulin resistance is associated with obesity, type 2 diabetes, and high cholesterol levels.[10] The symptoms and severity of the syndrome vary greatly among those affected.
Doctor had mentioned that usually woman that is overweight will have this issue (my weight is 70kg with 150cm of height) but before she confirm this is the only problem I have, she asked me to do blood test (related to amount of red cells, white cells and also hormones). She also asked hubby to do specimen test and another test for me called as HSG test. The HSG test can only be done on the 10 or 11 days of your period cycle. So that day I just did blood tests and hubby did speciment test.
It was just yesterday when I finally done the HSG test. A hysterosalpingogram, or HSG is an important test of female fertility potential. The HSG test is a radiology procedure usually done in the radiology department of a hospital or outpatient radiology facility.
When the radiology doctor inserted the tube, i felt a bit of cramp kinda like period cramp but when she injcted the dye that was when it hurt the most. I thank God that I always have cramp whenever I am on period cycle so for me it was not that bad but still hurts tho hahaha. Once done, the result came out within 30 minutes and I had to go to see Dr. Siti Zaleha again as she will go through all results and explain everything to both of us.
As for my tests, I got what it is called as imbalance hormone. My progesterone level is very low which is at 1.46 while normal is more than 36 and not only that the hormone to produce eggs is lower than hormone to destroy eggs. Thus, I am not ovulating. Despite the fact that I got my period every month, but it was just empty no eggs. That was what the doctor told me. As for my HSG test, Alhamdulillah all is good. There is nothing wrong with my fallopian tube. The doctor told me that the only thing I need to do to get pregnant is to lose weight and of course praying to Allah because we human can only do what needs to do but Allah still be the One who can make it happen. At last, doctor gave me prescription for anti-diabetic medicine called glucophage (500mg dosage. twice a day) for 2 months to help me lose weight. Once I shed off some kilos, then only the doctor will ask me to do hormone therapy. I will need to see her again in 2 months time.
Oh ya, about hubby's speciment test, all is good so the problem is only with me. I gotta LOSE WEIGHT. I will do whatever it takes in order to get pregnant and In Shaa Allah will have our lil miracle someday :)

- Radiographic contrast (dye) is injected into the uterine cavity through the vagina and cervix
- The uterine cavity fills with dye and if the fallopian tubes are open, dye fills the tubes and spills into the abdominal cavity
